We are starting with two pilot schools, one is Wesley International Academy (“Wesley”), located in Atlanta, Georgia!

They serve ~800 students in grades K-8 with an attendance zone of the entire city.
They are a charter school
Wesley is a member of the Georgia Charter Schools Association.
They embrace culture
Wesley is an IB World School authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Why Wesley?
There were several reasons! We are familiar with the school and are impressed by their leadership team. Aside from that, we felt they offered an excellent opportunity for us to learn how to scale this initiative. For instance…
They serve those in need
They foster a community where all members (students, faculty, and families) are open-minded, cared for, and valued. Wesley is a Title I school, meaning it is eligible to receive federal funds due to the percentage of impoverished children it serves. Approximately 72% of Wesley students can receive free or reduced-price lunch.
Working with them lets us see our impact on students in need.
They are independent
Wesley is a charter school—an Atlanta Public Schools and Georgia State Board of Education-approved organization. As a charter school, they are afforded independence, which makes partnering with an organization like ours easier.
That partnership will enable us to learn, grow, and refine our vision.
They are an IB World School
An IB education offers academic and personal rigor, challenging students to excel in their studies and personal growth. Students at Wesley explore, examine, and celebrate cultural differences in an academically challenging and encouraging environment.
